Gondra Barandiarán Scholarships 2021- 2022

 

One of the founding objectives of the Gondra Barandiarán Foundation is to promote and develop cultural activities and to grant training assistance. With these purposes in mind, the Foundation has partnered with the museum via the Gondra Barandiarán-Bilbao Fine Arts Museum Grants since 2014. Along with this programme, it has also promoted other activities related to artistic and museographic training since 2017, the date that the Foundation joined the museum's board.

With this shared purpose, both institutions are now announcing the eighth edition of the training grant programme targeted at youths with university degrees who aspire to develop the knowledge they gained in their education and acquire new skills in a museum work environment with the assistance of museum professionals.

Thus, the seven people who are awarded the grant will be able to gain training in different technical areas of the museum over the course of nine months.
